Baikal winter (3 days, 2 nights)

Ulan-Ude — Ivolginsky Datsan — Enkhaluk — Ulan-Ude
It is not true that the winter in Buryatia is severe. True that
the temperature is low but however, because of the practically regular
absence of wind there the frost is dry and easily enduring, and days
are clear and sunny. It is much warmer in winter at the Baikal coast
line. High humidity makes winter very mild there

In winter Baikal is a snowy tale. Huge white «paws» of pine trees,
crystal frozen rivers, massive ice-hummocks, springs and water falls.
Every year Baikal winter prepares a lot of entertainments: ice-fishing,
riding troika, race at the ice-hills, walking in the forest on a horse,
skiing and even:swimming in the hot springs! After frost it is great to warm yourselves in Siberian banya (bath-house) and try delicately
prepared taiga and Baikal gifts. For a long time people visit Baikal to get healthier and more powerful. You are always welcome!
